Angry

My alarm wouldn't turn off on saturday evening when I tried to use the remote, depsite replacing the batteries earlier tha day.
I disarmed via the keypad and then went home to get the spare, which doesn't work either. I therefore have two fobs with brand new batteries, and neither work. I've been using the keypad to arm and disarm therefore.

Having brought the manual in to work today, it seems to indicate that I can programme the key fobs via the keypad. Should I try and reprogramme both keyfobs using the proceedure in the manual therefore (to see if they've just become out of "sync") or are they for NEW keyfobs only?

Urgent advice required as I don't like disarming via the keypad and thereby waking my neighbours at 6am every morning!!!

Thanks
SS23.

You can reprogramme old fob's.
Sounds as if the've "lost" their memory on your battery change.
Is it the Subaru version of the manual you have ?
Mail me if you want a copy of the Sigma version.
Chris
P.s. May reply tomorrow - weather's to good to stay at work

Thanks for your reply Chris. As the alarm was fitted to my imported WRX independently, I have the Sigma manual. It clearly states you can reprogramme the new fobs, just wanted to make sure I can do the old ones!!

Will try tonight and let you know how I get on.

Andy

Chris - no joy so I'll have to see a specialist.

Thanks anyway.

R U sure you've got the right manual ?
I've sent the engineer's version to your profile.
Check if its the same as yours.
