Loads of Impreza Turbo's are currently being stolen from peoples drives and garages in the West Yorkshire area (and probably many other areas of the country). In particular, Asian gangs are targeting the car in West Yorkshire as it is the perfect drug running/robbery getaway car. On average, 1 aday is being stolen in West Yorkshire alone. Most are stolen as a result of people being careless with their car keys when they are in their homes. The theives either "hook" them through the letter box or if they can see them but not "hook" them, just break in and take them by force. Most victims are followed home, so be on your guard. To steal an MY98 onward car the keys are a must, so take em to bed with you at night or at least hide them when you have locked up.
