Hi All,
Are Diskloks any good ?, I am getting my 1st scooby soon and as the trackers are so expensive I was wondering about taking a risk and relying on one of these for a short while,(my insurance requires a tracker for theft cover).
Has anyone had a car nicked with one of these on ?

Do a search in the forum for disklok, you will find they are most peoples choice of security.

My insurance company told me i needed a tracker so i changed insurers, i have a Multiloc, Disklok,& alarm imobilizer. the the new insurers are fine with that.

I got my disklok from the local police station, the crime provention team do them cheeper than in all the shops, or you can get one from Halfords as they have them on offer at the moment.

If you dont have a tracker then your insurance will be invalid anyway but the more security (visable or not) the better!

I tried to get one from my local crime prevention officer (Cheshire) but she said that they do not do them. So it looks like it is localised to specific areas of the country, maybe those with higher car crime rates?
