Tracker Post Install
#1
Had my Tracker Monitor fitted by Doc Clifford yesterday and I got a reciept/proof of installation sheet. I am sending this off to my insurers (Tesco) and hope they accept this.
Do Tracker send anything to me at all? Like an information pack? I was in a Beamer the other day and he had like a folder pack in his car.

AFAIK, yes you will receive stuff from them.
I'm sure some of the others will say for definite but my dad has tracker monitor on his car and it what I'm getting, and from what he was telling me about it I was under the impression that you do get stuff sent to you once its is all set up.
As for the BMW, probably not best for him to keep all the info in the car!!

Superdon. If you're the guy that was there before me then they forgot to give you your folder pack. Richard said he'd post it out to you.
Tesco were a bit funny with me on the phone a minute ago as I didn't want to send them the original document after all the stories of ones they've lost on here but they said they'd make an exception this time and accept a fax and a photocopy.
I have a silver STi V - now with tinted secure film and tracker
The tinting guy managed to break a clip on the passenger side plastic electric window panel - now blu-tac'd but he did a good job on the tinting so I'll let him off He was probably pushed for time as we got there 1.5hrs late due to the M6 being closed at stafford. Grr that was a bad start to the day!
Took until 7:30 to get the tracker to work - duff motion sensor
The Doc is run off his feet!

Thanks. I'm really pleased with the tinting. Just hope it doesn't make me look too much like a pimp/gangsta or camera shy celeb
After about 5 phone calls and three faxes I'll be covered for theft when my insurance transfers to tesco at the end of the week! They gave me the wrong number twice and seem to have different departments scattered all over the country. Probably best not to send them your original tracker certificate.
