Yes, you definitely want to have a look at the Clifford BlackJax system. Been around in one form or another for ten or more years and is the most proven of them. Very cost effective too.

no good if you get beaten up for the disarming code though
i know someone who got carjacked and was sat in the back seat while they drove off...............until the blackjax kicked in and then he waz threathend with a kicking himslef if didnt punch in the code

Bro has just had anti hijack fitted to his STI8, by SUMO POWER,
[details on the functioning of blackjax deleted - see the clifford website for publically available details - sorry CTR]
all of this for £200 including fitment. and you might get a glimpse of some of the cars and kit they've got
