we had one on our scoob. was lucky enough not to have it tested by theft but they were quick off the mark when the car was on a flat bed. No idea how easy they are to locate though

The RAC Trackstar system consists of a few black boxes and can basically be fitted anywhere on a car.

I had my system moved from a BMW to my Subaru and it took the fitter a couple of hours to find the system on the BMW before he could then remove it, which I thought was a good sign.

cheers for that, yes that is a good sign

is it best to buy direct from the website and then do they come and fit it at your place of work or at home?

Yes, buy direct and they will come out to anywhere to fit! I went through a security company (mentioning no names....GAP SECURITY) and had no end of trouble so either go direct or not at all!!!

Yes or you can call one of the dealers direct. The prices quoted for moving the system from one car to another really varied.

Sound Alarming did the job in the end for a very reasonable price and they came to my home in East London to do it even though they are based in Kent.

Cheers
