Hi everyone

I originally stuck this in electrical - sorry - missed the security forum

last night my alarm decided to have a fit.

It has been sitting in a garage for the last 24hrs and nothing has moved

I have tried opening and shutting all doors, bonnet, boot etc but still having hassle.

Unfortunately the manual for the alarm COBRA 5370 didnt come with the car - but i am getting an error code

After the arming period - approx 40s - i am getting a long tone during which time i get 5 short flashes from the red light.
If i dont do anything the alarm goes off after a few minutes - stopping that i then get 2 long flashes which is repeated every few seconds.

I have started the Scoob - no problems there. Anyone got any ideas on the problem and how to cure it

Many thanks

Mitch

I've got a Cobra 7918. There's a technical helpline number in the instruction book 01923 240525. Maybe they can help you.

Cobra error codes:
1 blink = door bonnet or boot have been opened
2 " = additional sensor triggered
3 " = ultrasonic sensor triggered
4 " = attempts to start
5 " = voltage drop sensor triggered
6 " = tamper mode
7&8 = serial line communication error.
Hope this helps
Bob
