Tracker or RAC Trakstar

So which is best;
Tracker 24 Hour Monitor
or RAC Trakstar
or something else?
I was always told Tracker was the best, and I'm soon to pick up my brand new WRX but need one of these fitted beforehand. I had Tracker 24 Monitor on my old scooby and luckily didn't find out weather it worked or not so I can't say! One fitter has said RAC one is better??? but is more expensive!!
HELP.

I have NavTrak fitted, GPS based, and you can locate the car yourself (testing the unit) using your mobile. The new ADR system also 'recognises' the driver using a special transmitter card which is kept on the person, in wallet, pocket etc. see their website navtrak.com
keep on scoobin..
keep on scoobin..

I have looked into this topic myself and believe the tracker is best. this is because it is the only tracking system available in the uk where the police track the vehicle. On all the others somebody in a control centre tracks the vehicle on screen and then it is upto them to forward the info to the police.

My findings were that the GPS systems are a better technology solution. However, a police friend of mine said that the Tracker solution was preferable as it eliminated the need for a conversation with the company (RAC/NAVTRAK etc) to be going on with the police control centre while 'on the other line' they are trying to direct patrol cars to the location. The Police can get out and do the job independently with the Tracker system - which they prefer.
