Wheel Clamps - will they stop the bu88ers??
#1
Guys,
from my other post it would seem Disclocks a good idea (cheers - I'll be having one of those then).
But what about wheel Clamps, where can I get a really good sturdy one at a good price??
Do you think they are worth the cash??
Anything else I might need in my fight against scumbags?

I'd go for a Barrier Deadlock before a wheel clamp. It locks your car in gear, and can only be removed/disabled (without a key!) by jacking the whole car up (so i believe).
Do a search here, or ask at your local Scooby dealer for details.

I use a wheel clamp I bought in Halfords. I seem to remember it getting very good reviews at the time. It's also pretty easy to get on and off. I personally think it's a good visual deterent. With the Dislok on as well, I imagine only a determined (and power tooled up) thief would attempt to nick it.
I've been parking it on the street for 2 years in Central London BTW.
