Cool

Ta muchly for the alarm fitting - just don't let em all know how speedy it can be done - all I've got to do is stop trying to start the car after it's auto alarmed and deafening myself

The day after you fitted it, I went down south and got a stone through the windscreen so you know I was asking about the pads behind the receiver... looks like I'm stripping it off already

All the best - keep up the good work

Yep - enjoying it so far with only minor tweeks to date to keep the insurance and warranty happy

Enjoyed the NM7 but wasn't too keen on trying to keep up given how new it was

So far:

WR Sport b/box - nice but not too loud, good rumble on startup
Speedline Turinis when the F1s come and I shell out some more dosh to Tescos

PS when you sent your VAT bill to Hans, did he want the original demand or the one that C&E return to say you've paid it? I'm assuming the latter so he'll have to wait a bit longer. Did you just have to pay up at their rate or did you negotiate if you had a better forward contract rate?

I'm having loads of grief with my 600 on my new STi, firstly the prox sensor thingy wasn't working correctly, so Clifford sent a 600 brain especially for wrx/sti, then it was fitted and the ***** forgot to programme in the window roll-up.

Then I noticed later that day that the turbo timer wasn't working, so stuck again for another hour while they pissed about with it, only to come to the conclusion that the wrx/sti unit is faulty, no earth being outputted to relay.

And then they tell me the fuel guard option does not work on the wrx/sti as there is too much interference in the wiring to make it work reliably, true ?

I wish there was a Max down in the south

Big Goon,

What year is your WRX Sti? There are only any issues if it is the older 90's Japanese import (completely different from the 2000 onward WRX Sti), and even then I've had no problems using regular un-modified C600 ecu's, provided that a good source of power is picked up in the car and the RPM input is taken from the RPM output from the engine management rather than the ignition pack or a fuel injector. Unfortunately, with a modified C600 ecu, the additional power supply filtering components in it also block the fuel-guard data output too, meaning the fuel-guard module can't be installed.

Any questions, by all means give me a call on 0113 2441448 during office hours and maybe I can give you some ideas on questions or suggestions you can put to your original installer.

Big Goon,

Got your mail the other day and I'm glad you've managed to find an installer who seems to know what they're talking about and is going to sort out your 'orrible mess of an alarm (-:
