Just seen an interesting post from Baby Blue.

How do you 'Enable the alarm to auto lock the doors as soon as you turn the ignition on a new shape'

Does anyone know how to??

Cheers

Didn't even know the alarm did this. Sounds like a good idea especially when girlfriend is using car (not very often mind )

How does this work then, do I turn the ignition on (so that the car is actually running) or just so the lights etc come on then push the fob button 4 times?

Dealer set it for us when new.

Full instruction are in the alarm handbook. I'll tell you exactly whereabouts when I have book in front of me.

If you leave a door open when starting, the doors won't lock - either wait until you're all in before starting or lock them later.

Assuming we're talking Sigma M30, where is the keypad likely to be. Please don't say "in the glovebox", 'cos it ain't there on mine

Mine is in that little pocket on the bottom right of the steering wheel, the one that you can just about fit a wallet in.

Sorry - forgot to look at the book last night!!!

Sigma is the std alarm on UK WRX - lets not get too carried away with posting details of our alarm systems on an open BBS. Any dealer should be able to tell you about the security systems on your car. Lets face it we all paid them enough in the first place, make them work for you!!
