My remote locking on my MY00 turbo used to be great, working from 20 - 30 feet from the car. My new Sti only works from around 6-8 feet away, which is rather annoying. Is this correct, or should the system be working from a greater distance. Thanks to anyone who can help

I've noticed this. However it is as it says in the manual.

I'm not sure if it is low powered to reduce the risk of these "code grabbers".

There have been a couple of occasions where I've had to walk round the car to get the thing to set!
