Clifford Eagle II Error codes?
#1
well seems like my alarm is starting to play silly buggers Its just started going off recently and I was wondering what it could be.
Sometimes when I lock the door (or when I relock after its gone off) it chirps 4 times. I assume this is an error code is there anywhere that could tell me what the problem is?
Thanks in advance.

4 chirps as soon as you lock means a door isn't properly closed (or the switch is faulty). A delay after the initial chirps then 4 chirps means the boot or bonnet aren't closed properly or one of the switches are faulty.

Almost, Paul (-:
Four chirps on arming means bonnet or boot open (or switch contacts not fully open circuit due to moisture etc). The usual two chirps, then a few seconds later another four means a door is open (or switch contacts not fully open circuit) or a faulty sensor. Three chirps on disarming means the alarm has been triggered while you were away, and at this point, provided you don't arm/disarm again, if you immediately turn on the ignition the LED will flash in groups of 1, 2 or 3.
1 flash - sensor circuit (could be any sensor on this circuit)
2 flashes - door cicuit
3 flashes - bonnet/boot circuit
Hope you manage to get to the bottom of it.

D'oh... you're right Max, said that from memory so I must have got the two mixed up.
The total recall feature when you disarm and get three chirps isn't as useful as it should be, there's no way to differentiate between the microwave, shock or glass break sensors. Hopefully this is fixed on the G4s with the networked sensors, any info on this?
