Default Bouley Bashers- Aberdeen

Dear All,

Hope you are all good,

I have a question that one or two of you might be able to help me with. I am trying to track down some of the drivers who participate in Boulay Bashing in Aberdeen. The reason I want to make contact is because I am a documentary maker and want to see if there is a potential to make a short film about the drivers.

I understand that this subculture is still going and that the car of choice is often a subaru..

Does anyone know anyone or has anyone witnessed these races recently?

Many Thanks,

Joseph

Bouley bashing in Aberdeen!! Really. . there's absolutely nothing to film!!.

Few years ago when i past my test you nipped round to Asda's car park Now it's just to park up in the beach car park, speak to your mate's then bugger off again.

Stuff of about 8 year's ago off drag racing along the lynx road are well and truly gone.

There's track and street grampian (A byword for kid's to mod corsa's and slam them on there **** and think there part of some sort of club)

Race's?? theres none. . Just folk sitting in a car park as you see in any town or city.

I took my Impreza once to a meet at the beach. was for the ford meet as the better half's uncle's RS500 was there. Honestly, there's more Focus Rs's kicking about Aberdeen than any decent impreza's

I'll second what's been said above. You're at least 5 years late.

used to like going down the beach on a Friday night with my pals after passing my test 10 year ago. those were the days when we all ran about in 1.0l cars now a days its vxr corsa seem to be the car of choice. I believe it was all those folk that moved into the flats down the beach that complained about the noise that ruined it. they moved into the noise so deal with it.

now its just a ghost town at the wknds
