chears fellas.
I needed a bit more room with folding seats for snowboards etc.this ticked all the boxes.
Next pruchase are some winter tyrers as its shedding the white stuff here in aberdeen as I type.
might get some alloys to go with the tyres. any ideas if 17's will still fit?
maybe with 225/45/17 winter tyres? its currenty got 225/40/18.
correct in saying they need to be 5x114.3
anyway cheers for the comments.

Thanks Pete, Brian Downie has a good rep, his cars are really nice. Even has a 22b in his stock!
This one was taken in in trade for a newer one with only a few thousand on the clock, just have to wait for him to prep it proparly for sale. has print out of 308bhp, not sure what its is standard out of the factory. expect a drop for age but i am unssure if its been mapped etc.

Very nice.
Some 17's will clear the brakes. The impreza from late 2005 has the same whels, but in 17's. They'll fit.

Martyn
Yes I totaly agree with you......infact I walked away a couple of times bacause i found it difficult to strike up a conversation & get the information that i wanted about the car.
But once I had made it clear that I was intrested he opened up a bit and we chatted for some time about the car, and others which he had. I have only herd good things about his motors and services, even if it is like drawing teath.
