1995 WRX RA with gold wheels. I expect he would waste most opposition in that beast which runs 349 BHP on the rolling road because he has to turn the boost down to cure clutch slip - could well be a fair bit more at the strip with real airflow conditions.

what did it look like 
there are one really quick white impreza (big spoiler and loads of graphics) and there is one really bloody frecken quick impreza ( low spoiler)
one does 12.5s and one does sub 12s
which one did you come across

Hi Adam, Yes that was me, the Tom Cruise lookalike
That day was before the phase 2 mods It was 'only' running 12.8 secs that day IIRC. Last time out was 11.8 
Phase 3 mods are almost complete now Maybe get to Lax Bowels day for an attack on 11.5 
I recall your Supra being either 4 of 5 up at the time

my best time for the day - 14.03 - againt an M3, which i beat (i was 2 or 3up)
Yip - was 4 up against you.... didnt have a choice... the ****ers just piled in!! didnt even know one of them!!!
My rears were bald - the engine was std..... er... any more excusses... oh... the weight!!
Bloody quick car you got there tho!
I think my mates comments were "You wont be racing him again then!"

Were you at Crail last Sunday....didnt see you???
They only let 12 cars on
and wouldnt let us race against the bikes either
Managed a new personal best of 12.36 @ 110 mph quickest car of the day

Your times are sure improving That new track layout must be shorter
I hope to make the next one, should have a bit more power dialled in further up the rev band this time.........maybe ? Still on std clutch though

They had their own timing system & tree, and it changed very quick, so no red lights
.Was getting less spin off the line, surface was a bit stickier with the sun on it all day.
Quickest bike did a sub 9.5 @ 176mph....brave man
I'll be hanging around my club display area at the next crail, doing a bit show n' shine.

would'nt mind chatting to him.... was quite a bit he thumped me by!!! (my first run aswell... i was a bit gutted)
Got beat by by the (daves)mental white 2.1 tb's corsa aswell.... only just tho... plus i was 4up and had a **** start!
I raced another one.... but in my opinion... i could have won..
Think it was a UK spec light silvery/blue....
Raced him after he watched me and Michael Gellie (White Supra, now escort cossie... C* GEL ) both get sideways at the bottom of the cueing area!
