SIDC have a track event at Knockhill from 9am to 1pm. Open pit lane (go out when you want for as long as you want), free tuition (just grab the instructor as many times as you want during the event).

Less than 20 places currently booked, so ideal if you like a near empty track to drive on

Best to ask the guys on SIDC (scottish scoobies). I am 99% certain that KH provide helmets.

Yea, you can hire the helmet for a fiver

THhnk you need to give them a tenner deposit and you get a fiver back at the end of it.

Yes, everyone is correct. £10 deposit for a helmet and you get £5 back at the end of the day when you return it

There should also be a wheel and tyre van in attendance, so you can check and adjust your tyre pressures throughout the event, but new road tyres if you wear yours out, and even hire slicks if you want!
