two things strike me as odd on this photo, the first is what appears to be a flame from underneath the car?, the second is where he has his number plate, he`s probably drawing in less air than he would with a top mount

after what lookes like a gid day at k hill i was disapointed at the number of monkeys that then took it oot on the road
then just before the steelend junction there was some tube ditched rear doon in the dirt front in the sky
GET A GRIP BE WISE AND RESPONSIBLE
after all we all use the roads but not all use the track

Mmmmm I agree, the guy that had ditched his S2000 was a bit of a test pilot if his mate who asked for positioning was anything to go by for getting pulled out the ditch. BTW he hadnt even been to knockhill he was travelling north

Thats me!!

Here is a link to a post i put up about my car

https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...lassic-ra.html

Your eyes are not decieving you that is indeed a flame under the car. I developed a small oil leak on the last session and it was dripping onto the exhaust wrap on the headers. I was black flagged and pulled in just after the photo was taken. I'm hoping its nothing major. It was coming from the front of the engine so its suspected to be the crank seal.

I see what you are saying about the plate, but once you gather any speed the thin fixings for the plate flex backwards allowing more air in. Good for the speed camera's too!!

It certainly doesn't seem to hamper the performance!!

Your car looks in top order. The wheels really set it off.

How do you find the handling running 18's..?

My mate ran the sorted Ra and I had the blue type r, the day was great. There was some pretty fancy machinery, cars that I could neither afford or want to throw around knockhill. I guess thats where the grin factor comes in, we claimed a few scalps amongst some pretty sweet cars. Mind you we were both scalped back

My mate with the RA has the bling in terms of handling, Im the poor relation with headers only, race spec manifold, zero sports gear, Ohlin coilovers and an exhaust. 40 groove disks and DS2500 pads.

Re the yellow Evo, I dont think it passed me but the black one did

The Ra was the ex whiteline Demo/development car. Its got:

Full whiteline kit
Verus race coilovers
Omp roll cage
Omp race seats
Front mount
Water injection
Afterburner vortex system
gfb lightweight pullies
gfb adjustable dump valve
lightened flywheel
exedy clutch
Chipped ecu
Ap 6 pots
17" speedline

Not sure what power its running but it goes well and handles even better..
