This was my (road legal) toy as it ran 10 secs 1/4s @ 135mph in 1999





This was how it looked a bit more naked in 2000 but still taxed, MOT'd and Insured (note I didn't say road legal !) running 9.43 @ 143mph
That was using only 125 of the 250 extra NOS horses available ! You may recognise the background





This is it as the new owner has it. Should have been running 2001 but he wanted a supercharger fitted to liven it up a bit first





Maybe he will make an appearance with it this year (it still lives in Edinburgh)

The one that veered off into the other lane, narrowly missing a Nissan Pulsar IIRC was a Falkland built, Cosworth engined F2 stock car. Looked similar being all black with tall wing etc.
The guy that had that wild handling car is the guy that later bought my car
Remains to be seen if it was the car or driver that was wild

Thats the bugger i`m talkin bout m8 checked the vid and yeah it was against the pulsar (which left him off the line till he got traction).
BTW thanks for the warning, I`ll make sure i don`t line up with any custom efforts if there`s even a chance the driver might no b able to control it.
At least up against non customs u r off the line b 4 them so doesn`t matter if they loose it, coz u r in front of them

It was neither of them, twas just a 340bhp Escort Cossie, it ran 12.5 best but that was when you got a good run at the lights
