hi all can anyone help i have a 2.0l sport and was thinking of fitting a intercooler from a sti would it work and would i need the bonnet with vents on it to get the air into it. the intercooler is off a 99-00 model and my car is a 97 please help thanks

 

Is this a wind up ? If not then no it would do nothing as you dont have a turbo so what would you connect the intercooler to ?

 

hmm i actually think it could be done if he rerouted the hose work via the flux capacatator and uprated the foo foo valve

yes your right just a bit hot headed with a drink so i am sorry plus u have a nice car the reason i asked that about the intercooler was a car garage from ebay who was selling it said it would fit but not up the performance but would work i tryed to work out how it could so thats why i asked on this site......

BTW that garage is having you on, the intercooler sits in behind the inlet manifold and actually connects to the inlet manifold from the behind, AFAIK there is nothing on the inlet manifold on a sport for it to connect to, me thinks the garage was trying for an easy sale lol

 

yep think he was wanting an easy sale to but i retracted my bid i ken not to buy anything from him i will just need to go and buy a scooby turbo now at least that will have one built in might cost a bit more though

 

it will cost a bit more but the fun factor is alot higher too

 

Might find it a little difficult to fit an intercooler and it'll DO NOTHING for the N/A Scoob.
