Default any ideas

hi, my scooby is running like sh*t when its cold, sounds like its misfiring, but soon as it heats up it runs as sweet as you like, any body got any ideas? or is this part and parcel with 1 of theses cars, this is my 1st impreza so not all clued up on them yet.

Sounds to me like it could well be the lambda sensor! Know a couple of folk who had the exact same problem which was rectified by changing it.

Tend to run R.A.F on cold if they are shot. Any problems when it has warmed up? or it it running perfectly?

Yep...as Gus says..

Mines was like that until i changed the Lambda... Then it was hunky dorey...

soon as it heats up a bit runs as sweet as you like, i normaly start the car and let it tick over for bit b4 going any where, but if i dont, if i just get in and go for the 1st 2 or 3 miles it runs lumpy.

Ive had the same problem aswell mate and it was the lambda
