Scottish section - Meet 'n' run? List your interest...
Getting busy in here!!!!
Maybe thinking about getting a wee meet sorted out for SNET. If your in favour, stick your name down and later on when we have a rough idea of date etc, i'll start a new thread.

i usually check this place out from time to time but rarely post, starting to find myself here more and more tbh though, dunno if its due to the layout of the new sidc site or the lack of banter considering what the site "used " to have, maybe the lack of banter and could be down to the lay out of the site i dunno, thinks need to be done though as its died a death over there

Dunno mate, but i know whta you mean.
Personnaly i always thought it just wasn't "right". Something just felt missing...
Ok, we've lost the Scottish peeps here, but it still has a better atmosphere IMHO, than SIDC.
Maybe we should get a Scottish SNET meet going!

I just can't get into SIDC - I think its because SIDC is so 'area' focused. I liked the fact that this section was a 'local' part of a larger community and larger BBS. I actually find it quite amazing that because a few key players threw their rattles out of the pram that eveyrone followed them over to another site?! I've seen lemmings with less willingness to follow

Good to see some recognisable names here, true...sidc is getting a tad boring and the new lay out sucks..even better to see this place getting used more too.The technical forums and general information from a few guys on here is second to none

Alreet folks.
Dave, loom is almost out. Had to whip the dash out for another guy anyway.
Will need to bring the shell down from the "store" and strip it right back to nowt and get rid of any parts that are no use.
Im in Abz the noo, only till tomorrow night. Should be home for a day and then I will be away for around a week.
When do you want it for as I will be sunning my *** in N.Z for about four weeks after that.
Just been busy with the house/baby preparation and of course...the new toy and getting the the old toy ready for re sale etc etc.
So in short, next week or next month??
If your desperate for it then I will put the time in, if not I would do it the end of March.

Had a guy yesterday view it and he's away to check his finances etc.
Had a couple other peeps interested, but not came to view it as of.
New project is coming along ok. Nearly fully stripped the interior ready for removing the sound deadening and fitting a cage.....once i get some cash to buy one.

Dave,
I have an OMP cage in mine.
Looks like a strong cage. But remember , its only as good as the man that fits it.
If its not properly plated in, its as much use as baps on a fish.
If you want a look at mine any time, just give me a shout.
It was fitted by M Sport so it should do the trick
Been told to stay away from fully welded in options as they write the shell of is some cases if the cage gets a big impact. You cant repair the cage/shell as it is all one.
Needing to get the dash "Flocked" now. Who can do that do you know??
