Aaaaaaaaaaaah yes, i remember! How you getting on with her? Classic car....the best.
First steps(IMHO), are to get some gauges fitted and maybe get a wee listen to the engine....possibly get a wideband lambda fitted and with both these items on your car, we can tell just how well(or not so well) the engine is running. After that, you can decide how far to take her, on the standard ecu.
If your ever down my way during the day, during the week, pop into my work....we're now a bit further up the road, but it IS the same road. Second building on the left as you come down off the main street.

So far:-
2.5 block
Arrow rods
Buddy Club alloys/Toyo tyres
6 speed gearbox/diff/prop/linkage
Apexi PFC
Tomei 280lph fuel pump
-6 converted fuel rails
big **** off air filter n fittings
2xCobra Imola racing seats
FMIC
Alloy header tank
Ported WRX heads/cams(still to decide if i'm using these)
Cusco coilovers
GT30R with ported shroud and polished cover
V-band downpipe to suit/others bits n pieces for fitting turbo n downpipe
Whole bunch of other odd's n sod's.
And a 10 point bolt-in(soon to be fully welded) rollcage
Looking at the moment for a lot of other stuff, but cooling the spending till i've spoken to the engine builder about my options.
Last edited by drb5; 23 February 2007 at 06:53 PM. Reason: Updated list, as i've just purchased the rollcage!

Dave.
I know I already asked you about management for the car, but would you consider the MoTec if you were to get it a little cheaper?
With the spec your looking at building, I'd have said it would compliment it nicely.
Just that I was speaking to a chap that had mentioned getting one of his cars fitted and mapped on MoTec. If we made it three cars then the price would get even better.

Don't get me wrong, i'd love to have a Motec and with Bob mapping, i'm sure it would be great, but from one car to another, i dunno you'd find much difference.
They occasionally come up on Ebay and i've been tempted before, but with the PFC, i only need to travel to Andys on the first map instead of a good few hundred miles.
