Dave,
I have an OMP cage in mine.
Looks like a strong cage. But remember , its only as good as the man that fits it.
If its not properly plated in, its as much use as baps on a fish.
If you want a look at mine any time, just give me a shout.
It was fitted by M Sport so it should do the trick

Been told to stay away from fully welded in options as they write the shell of is some cases if the cage gets a big impact. You cant repair the cage/shell as it is all one.

Needing to get the dash "Flocked" now. Who can do that do you know??
I think WUZ has a contact, i was going to get him to get mine flocked after it got bleached by the sun last summer

TBH, i dont think ill ever be a local here, theres too much ***** looking for an argument for my liking, bit of a shame really as this place is better for info compared to sidc, but sidc has better people and that goes alot further in my book

Agreed Jamie. 10 point + weld in will be what i go for and i do a lot of welding due to the job, so that isn't a worry. As for writing off the shell....it WAS on £90, so i'm not overly concerned. Besides, it's really just to stiffen up the shell.

I think, on SIDC, it's all to easy for someone to take the nip. Dunno why, maybe more people are highly strung on there, but i feel i have to watch what i say, WAY too much...

yes thats what i said dude (not meaning anyone here), reading through some of the threads in general section and all i can say is, this place has more than its fair share of tw@ts , how some of the people get away with being so ******* argumentive and cocky isnt really on imo

for information and the for sale section alone this place is second to none, for friendly people and general banter SIDC wins hands down everytime.

The whole dash has to come out to get the cage in Doug.
Right now its just sitting in place.
Some of the wiring, Airbag control, aircon...etc will be removed when the dash is ready to be fitted again.

Center console will stay , but handbrake/gearstick console will go, along with all the other plasics.

Tend to agree with you there, however we should just stick to the scottish section like it used to be and then you are free to browse if you want too, i for one cannot be ars*d answering some of the threads as i know its just for a argument.

Its like telling "Moses" on here that all Muslims are suicide bombers, you know he is going to bite, that seems to be the way of some of these people.
(No offence to moses in the making of this thread)

lol, nice one i noticed one here you need to chose your words VERY carefully compared to over the road, fair enough its alot more politically correct over the road but at least you dont have to watch every word you post for fear of somebody having a go at you, its just that bit more relaxed over there compared to here, i dunno wtf`s going on over there just now though as the whole place seems to be really dead compared to the last two winters ive been a member

I disagree, but i think(and i mean no disrespect to yourself mate), but i just feel that for some time, it's been very "cleeky". If your not one of the main guys, you ain't welcome.

Ok maybe i went a bit OTT there, but remember it is a VERY small part of a forum. On here you have a lot more members spread out and although yes, you do get arguements(you always will in life), i see a bitch or two appear every day on SS.

Everyone is entitled to your own opinion, but on SS, you get severely put down for it.

Im with Dave.

Too many sticker sporting, dump valve terrorists on the go on other forums.

Nothing wrong with a good debate, its when folk cant se it as a "debate" and they end up getting hyper about it.

Anyway, can we change the subject? Its getting boring. LOL
