Default Subaru serviceing in Aberdeenshire /

Hi guys,

Im new here and still fairly new to subarus, Have had a 53 WRX for just over a year.

It needs a service so am interested in knowing of any reccomendations for where i might get my car serviced. I'm needing a 30,000 mile service. I'm not sure what the feeling is here regarding dealers, but I phoned my local one and was rather taken aback by the price of £450. I also phoned inverness and they are a more reasonable £360. Anyhow if there are any local garages that people take their subaru to...

I also need some body work repaired, so will also be interested in bodyshop, but that is a sore point and can wait till after my service.

Thanks
Adrian

Thanks guys, I have booked into the Car Clinic for a 30,000 mile subaru service. Its £150 cheeper than the dealer and apparently its run by one of the brothers that used to run Town and County.

Will report back how I get on

Where is the car clinic by the way? Be interested to hear how you get on. I was contemplating putting car to Wallace performance for my 40k service as they recently did work to my car and i was pretty impressed with them.

The Car Clinic is on Abbotswell road, just round the corner from T&C Land Rover and right beside Arnold Clark Ford. They've done the most recently servicing and MOT for my Saab Aero and have serviced the missus' Smart. Quite reasonable on the £££ side and seem to do a proficient enough job.

Default Body Work

Haven't been on here for a while, so just seen your thread for body work.
My missus reversed my03 STI down a wall, creating a quote from town and county subaru, Aberdeen to the tune of 750.
I stay just north of Aberdeen and a couple of old boys in the village put me onto a guy that's just up the road (17 miles North of Aberdeen along the A90) who charged me 250. I was jubious at this price, but the job he did was A1. After my inspection and a couple of friends to, we decided that the paint job was un-detectable, and blended in perfectly.
A small unknown buisiness in a small place.....Get in quick before word gets out.
Feel free to come and take a look at the job he did for me if in any doubt.

This wouldn't be Ellon Auto Repairs by any chance? If so, I second the above.

Try Scott at Alexander Garage in waverly place, his number is 645115, a genuine and decent guy in Aberdeen city centre...

If you are willing to travel to Forres, then Liam at Glenburgie-Subaru is again very honest.

Whatever you do don't go to pitstop....they like to take the pi55 with labour and parts charges.

Good Luck

Koji
