SORRY IFAN OLD GUY IN A RENAULT MADE A RUDE GESTURE YESTERDAY!!!
Classic story!!!
My Dad was heading home yesterday (Newton Mearns) up the M77 - Saturday morning. He saw a WR Blue STI8 (MY03/ 04) coming up behind him and assumed it was me (mine is an MY04.) In true fashion, he then unwound his window and proceeded to greet the Subaru owner (who he thought was me) with a nice vicky!!!
Get this - the Subaru driver waved back (cheers) and so he then thought it must have been me. So he slipped his automatic into 'sports mode' and proceeded to floor it up the Sterwarton Road, over the 'yump' and towards the roundabout. Eventually, he turned off the road and into his street and became confused when the Subaru driver did not follow. It was then that the penny dropped!!!
So, sorry on his behalf and cheers for waving at him as it would have made his day!!!
