wrx - where the heck do i get a wr blue in Aberdeen or Scotland
hi folks
Potential scooby owner here if i could only find the right motor. i have been searching for a wrx in wr blue and at right price for a number of months now.
I know of sunnyhill motors, brian downie, and town and county in aberdeen. The latter having the least selection of what i want and the other 2 been not far behind T&C.
I would prefer a uk model rather than import just personal preference thats all.
Anyone got any ideas on other places in aberdeen that might be worth a try or maybe further a field in scotland. Also any online car supermarkets that might be able to deliver.
Ideas welcomed, looking forward to been an active member on this forum
thanks

I believe Fiskins in Forfar have a UK300 for sale arounf the £12K mark.
It's basically a WR Blue WRX that's been tarted up by Prodrive as a limited run of 300cars.
Nice machines

I would say stay away from downie as he is very overpriced, sunyhill is O.K. but don't seem to have as much stock as they used to and town and county is just town and county (very limited). Better of going further a field i say

steverobb, probably looking at up to 15k my00 to present wrx, also going to check out insurance on sti but really unsure about what it could cost, i got quoted £600 on a bog standard wrx from my current insurer which was a nice surprise.

dont go for a wrx until you have had a go in a STI. thats what i did and i would never go back. got my Blue/Black Mica STI 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. got a shot of a navy blue wrx from t&c and an STI from morrison moters turriff. would have been miffed if i had gotten an wrx.

cheers dave
thanks a lot dave you have just made my job in picking a car a lot harder, no seriously i have the same murmurrings from other people to about the comparison and they have all said the same things.
I havent done the performance car bit yet this will be my first, currently in a golf tdi, its ok but sounds like a tractor, so i thought that i would be that impressed with the the standard model it would be fine, starting to wonder now. Not sure if i am thrilled about the added costs with the sti either
god knows at this point i am a bit confused, but with the lack of wrx around for sale in aberdeen i think i will have plenty of time to mull it over. Might see about a test drive of a sti this weekend

What ever you do dont go to Indy Car Sales....his cars are well over priced and the guy that runs the place is a bit of an a*se.
There's always lots of WRX's for private sale in the Scot Ads.
