Dundee/Fife Meet
#1
Myself and a couple of others are interested in doing a mini-meet in the Dundee area, anyone interested. Could easily involve a little jaunt, ive got the very road but for now could be a snoop around eachothers cars.
Let me know and Ill organise. Could be up for next Sunday (if I get my bl**dy dials mended!!) 5th Nov.
Cheers all

Would be up for this but next weekend is not good timing for me. You'll also find that the annual Tour d' Ecosse is on next week so a lot of the guys that may have come along won't make it.

I would certainly be interested in a meet as I am living in Fife and have only had MY00 for two weeks. I must warn you I drive like a granny. Could not make the original date (next w/e now) as working, but would be interested in other dates eg Sun 12Nov.

Hi everyone,
sorry for the late reply, but only catching up with things now!
I'd be interested as well, but most of the "regulars" are off up the West Coast this weekend for the Tour.
However, there is a Hot Hatch event at Knockhill on the 5th, or a Top marques on the 12th which have been suggested before.

Hot Marques days are like Hot Hatch Days withough the muppets in 16v Novas.
Cars have to be in the Top Marques Mag with a min value of 10 grand.
Very good day out as the track is usualy quiet though be perpared for to use 1/4 tank of petrol per session.

hi Richie
i would never go to a hot hatch day again. i have been once and it was awful at least 200 cars , one of the car los a wheel on the track etc....
however top marques is a lot more civilised, usually you will get few scoobies, calibras even some prokers. and you will usually get a lot of track time for £35.
I will be going to the top marques day if i could get my clutch replaced in time.
richie
how about the sunday after the 19th of Nov. ?

Can we arrange something to meet up with the Tour 'd eccosse ?
I thought I heard of a plan to catch the Miss Wet Tee-shirt at Knockhill ;-)
Anyway I'm looking for somewhere to go any weekend.

Ken,
why don't you come with us on the Tour then ? I've just had a cancellation for a double room if you are interested. Could leave work Friday evening, and get there in time for dinner, back home again Sunday evening
Not sure about the timing of getting to Knockhill now, as it would likely be about 3pm at the earliest, and it starts getting dark around 4pm. I'll see what KH say though!

I'm wit Ken on this one, I can't make the Saturday but meeting up with the "TOURERS" on their way south might be pretty cool.
Anyone else up for this on Sunday? The weather will probably be miserable anyway, so it's either a blast or The Antiques Roadshow !

Due to the combination of a clash with the Tour D'Ecosse and short notice we seem to have missed the chance of a mini meet for this weekend.
Can I suggest a date later in the month (say Sunday 26th Nov) for a Dundee/Fife meet.
Hopefully this will give a bit more notice to everyone.
Anyone up for it?
Chris

nobody gets behind the wheel of my wee taxi - friend wrecked it the last time! still not fixed! 2 buckled wheels and off headlights!
He is indeed a dipstick - I was shouting at him for the first pothole at about 90 when he hit the next!
These thing happen
