I've been up there once! Its beautiful!
Great roads for blasting the Scoob around.
Think I'll need to take my Type-R up there for a play!

All I can say mate is take a wee drive north through Carrbridge, turn right at the junction, straight on for about 2 miles then 1st left onto the B9007. The best road in Scotland by far.
Take it easy at first though. 19 miles of pure driving heaven.

I was up that way two years ago... STAY AWAY from a place called "Alt Na Craig" unless you are really fond of food poisoning!

Hey Bud

I stay in Forres about 40mins from you. Just in the process of looking for another scoob as my last 1 was stolen so would be well up for meeting another scoob owner near by when sorted. I am quite often in aviemore, I love the place.

Hope your are enjoying your new home!

Evening M8 up here at Lossiemouth but there is nothing to stop a damn good drive down to Aviemore for a day of FUN. The road from Aviemore to Forres over the moor's is good, also the road from aviemore to Elgin via Rothes is good. Just watch out for a couple of narrow sections on bridges one has lights the other doesn't. As the days get warmer and the sunlight longer we will need to organise a meet somewher. Used to do runs out when I was out in Cyprus, these invloved a drive out followed by a meal then a mad session back home or to a cafe for a coffe. Only snag in the UK is plod, Cyprus plod could not care less. Keep it touch Steve

Default Rolling Road session

Been looking through the SIDC forum today. There is a RR session at Dastek Dalgety Bay could be interesting if you are free Friday 4th March. I'm planning to take time off work so hopefully a bit of shopping at AWD in perth on the way home aswell.

i live over in elgin but used to live in keith, best trip i have ever driven is the b9014 into the b9009 its not even a back road alot of the way single track no road markings, icy day ski boots flying around the boot at every corner brembos must have been close to smoking afterwards, what a day i salute that road

Agree there m8 but I prefer Elgin through to Aviemore via Rothes especially at 5am when the road is clear.
