What kind of Scoob have you got mate?
Any Scooby friendly garages in Dumfriesshire?

I've just flown my car over to the UK from Cyprus. Pick it up on Wed.in Wiltshire and drive it very slowly up the road to Andy F's to get re-mapped and add a few mods!

Then I'll be tearing about Dumfries!

Looks like the Shell Garage at Collin is going to be my 2nd home!

I used to have a '99 Mica Blue Turbo 2000 in Dumfries 3 years ago. Wasn't many going about there then.

I'll be back in Dumfries over Xmas and New Year m8; RB5 with PPP, STi 6 front splitter, Prodrive Handling Pack, Defis, 19s and AP Racing 6pots.

I'll keep an eye out (and ear, no doubt!) for you.

Its a 97 wrx import. Vf22 being fitted with a bigger inter-cooler,equal length headers with full de-cat exaust system. Also the suspension is being changed as i tried some coilovers but were too hard for my passengers!!!!!!!! New rear evo spoiler being modded to fit.
I also use the shell at collin or hardwick circus in carlisle as optimax is cheaper there!!!My mate does all my work on my car as he does a lot of subaru rally cars.

Cheers for the comments folks - not a deliberate thread hijack Ewan honest!

Here's a couple of piccies, more on my Photobucket account http://photobucket.com/albums/y31/RossRB5/ if anyone is interested? Really need to get some decent pics of it all cleaned up since I fitted the AP Racing brakes. Would be cool to have a meet-up over Christmas/New Year if anyone is about?

Any of you guys got some similar piccies you could post up?

All the best,
Ross

Haha, small world eh?

Yeah sounds about right Kosy, quite often stop for a looky at Cairneyhill on the way back from Crail. That time was probably when my pal had just bought a STi 5 RA V-limited from Charlie and we were in arranging to pick it up later that week. Some good stock he's got there, definitely much better than the guys who had the place before....

I was at Crail quite regularly this year, including the Max Power show - never again! Not only was the weather absolutely terrible, but it was the biggest collection of neds and bucky bottles I've ever seen! Its definitely one to avoid should you ever feel tempted!
If you see me/my car at Crail in the future m8, feel free to pop over for a chat, no probs at all.

Yeah you are right enough, I've got 60mm Defi BFs in the centre pod, just fitted them in the summer. Worst part was trying to decide where to install the controller!

Any more news on this Dumfries meetup then Ewan?

Cheers Kosy! Originally I was tempted by a bugeye WRX, but I'm pleased I went for the RB5 now, a wee bit more exclusive! Go for one, you won't be disappointed! I'm 24 but got mine when I was 23, so I can fully sympathise with the insurance situation!

Dan, excellent pics - car looks like a real tidy one, I'm sure I've seen it out and about at various shows. Got to be the best colour for a classic scooby that.

Yeh, had the car up at crail a few times and at the Fast+Modified show in the summer ther. I really like the car but im due to sell it soon, unfortunetly!

My m8 used to have an RB5 a couple of years ago b4 i got the terzo, really liked that car at the time and the colour of the car and the interior of the RB5 is awesome, his had 18" P1 wheels on it but im not sure wher the car is now.

Take it easy
