Wallace Performance Open Dyno Weekend
Saturday 14th May, 9am to 5pm open day.
And Sunday 15th May Japanese Performance dyno day, 12 noon to 5pm.
Wallace Performance, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, are having an open weekend in conjunction with Japanese Performance magazine.
State of the art 4wd rolling road will be open both days for power runs and demonstrations.
Power runs will be at a reduced rate of £30 per car (normal £45).
On the Sunday there will be a prize awarded for most power from a Jap car on road fuel.
Jap performance are also looking for cars to feature, so anyone with a big power or interestingly modded car please try to come along - cars will be assessed and photo shoots will take place on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
Anyone like to list their name to attend?
However you can just turn up if you'd like to run.
Absolutely no need to book or make a commitment now.
We will be open for the weekend regardless of numbers of people appearing.

Most people find these rollers are pretty accurate. On a session in September/October (cant remember exactly) some standard cars were put on and gave out factory figures. On mine, the factory bhp is around 236 and it put out 240 back then (with stainless backbox).
Was a bit disappointed on Saturday as it was lower than I expected, but it was a warmer day and there may also have been a bit of heatsoak with it sitting with the engine running. Should have thought about that

Results on the Saturday 247bhp, 238ft/lb.
But was 252bhp, 246ft/lb a couple of months ago with normal panel filter and standard cente section
Like I said, must have been a warmer day. Was hoping for 260bhp, 250lb/ft ish.

.aren't wp fans supposed to be super dooper cool though
onder2: a std evo 7 made 360.not sure about the torque.some have high readings and some low
.maybe the rollers.who knows.

I was there late last year with my GTB, 277 bhp after fitting a new Halfords panel filter enroute to the garage
Not bad for 94k miles bearing in mind it was 280 bhp leavin factory on 100 ron fuel. Hoping to get the STi V3 there shortly.

The dastek dyno's are well known to be more accurate than most. Indeed they usually show less power than other dynos.

Surprisingly easy to tune an Evo. Set of con rod bolts with adjustable boost and wahey! I was gutted when my mate got 350/340 from his 7 (set up by you Russ ) for just over a grand...

i need an evo and it tweeked by wp then.pitty its out of my budget for a late evo someday maybe
