Default Anyone been on the slopes yet??

Just wondered if there was enough snow for some boarding or sking up the Lecht or even at Glen Shee???

Any one know or been yet??

I've personally gave up on Scotland. Weather is just too hit 'n miss unless you live fairly close to a decent slope.

Would rather get a cheap weekend away in Norway or around the Alps.

glenshee only 30 min away from me but owt snow as per usual

Personally given up scottish skiing nothing compared
to the continent once uv tried it!

I'd disagree (slightly!)- you can still get some cracking days in Scotland if you're lucky. But you're right, it pays to live local and pick your days carefully.
Gone are the days of snow from December to May but if you get a good day, not much will beat it !! You even get a chance to have a rest at the bottom of the run, as they strategically arrange for a queue to be there to give your legs a chance to recover !!

Have a good Hogmanay everyone, and lets hope the snow gods smile on us soon !
