Ayrshire Meet
All right folks, I am looking to start organising a monthly meet around Ayrshire, I am new to the Subaru clan so I
don't know how many members are in the area. Please let me know if you would be interested and if you have
any suggestions for Location, Monkton Lodge ? Q8 garage at Kilmarnock or Gailes Lodge in Irvine to name a few.
Thanks.
Malky.

I am the RO for Glasgow and Ayrshire but Malcolm has expressed an interest in taking on the Ayrshire position that I was covering.
I'll assist him as best I can to get a regular Ayrshire meet underway.
So Brain. GET IT RIGHT UP YE!!!!!!

The Monkton Lodge has proved popular in the past for a meet. Its easy to get to as its on the intersection between the A77/A78, and a central location between Kilmarnock, Ayr, and Irvine.

I'd be interested as well.
Irvine would probably suit me better, as I would be travelling from Neilston and I hate the '77.
(However would probably still come along)
norry.

Wednesday 8th September, 7.30pm at the carpark in front of the Horizon Hotel in Ayr (down the sea front).
Plenty of space for parking and if its a bit wet then you get a drink in the bar.
Please add to the list if you intend to come along.

Malky,
I have organised a couple of get togethers at Monkton, the car park is plenty big for us, and they are happy to serve food and refreshments without notice.
I would recomend Monkton, as it is easily accessed by low vehicles and alos very conviently located just outside of town.
Appreciate that you are trying to get a local meet together, but I fear that any meet at Ayr shore will be overun by 'cruisers', not to mention it takes an extra 1/2 hour to get down there and if you are coming from afar, it is so easy to get lost.
If you fancy moving to Monkton, I'll be happy to organise a joint meet with the local guys from www.gtr.co.uk
