Afterburner Vortex In Aberdeen
Hi,
thinking about buying one of these systems, Afterburner Vortex, does anyone in the Aberdeenshire area have one so I can hear how loud it is.
Would also hope to have a ride in the car to hear what it sound like, at the moment I have a MY99 2000 Turbo Estate,If you have an estate with one of these or something similar and don't mind a stranger in your car that would be great

Afterburner Vortex's are nice but have you seen this group buy?
That exhaust is manufactured by the same people that make the Vortex (Hayward & Scott) and is virtually identical bar a different baffle design in the Vortex. See the official group buy thread on SIDC for more details. It's fraction of the cost of the Vortex at the group buy price too!
There's some sound bites of the Vortex on the Scooby World website to give you an idea of noise. It, along with the H&S Jap Style exhaust, are around the 105-110dB level depending on whether or not you have a de-cat already.
I'm sure we could get Russ at BHP Developments in Aberdeen to do us a wee deal on fitting as well.
