Double tag-team time on the M8 this morning
Spotted 4 traffic cars on the M8 this morning (all East bound).
First one just after Harthill Services with it's partner sitting just before the Whitburn junction.
Then another at the first Livi junction, with it's pal further up the road after all the road works.

There was a couple of Volvo estates and the others were 5-series beemers. Volvos were the first cars, with the beemers as the last ones in the traps.
They even have their red/blue warning lights on, so not difficult to spot from a distance. They must have just set up the traps as I was passing coz as soon as I was past the were back in covert mode

DR Motorsport,
I stay down in area of the jcmr, normal unmarked cars round here are a white omega v6 (N plate iirc) and a silver BMW 330 coupe (52 plate iirc) though its been in local press that they've been kitted out with unmarked bikes too!
If i see anything else i'll let you know!
Cheers, KGB.

The BMW 330 is a diesel, that's the one that went from Edinburgh to London in 4 hours with a terrorist suspect. They informed all regions that it was coming through, but missed one out, and when it was spotted doing 120 mph, they scrambled their helicopter to chase it with a train of police cars trying to keep up.
But it was in Duns last year for the rally also.
450 miles in 4 hours - that narrowly beats my Winchester to West Calder record a few years ago. But using a Subaru I had to make 2 petrol stops.
Most unmarked cars and all police bikes are kept in Edinburgh, and sent to where they are required.
