Cool New wheels

Big thanks to Damien (DamoSTI) for sorting out my wheels this morning. Didn't realise just how much hassle getting 35 profile tyres onto a wheel would be but he got there in the end.

Oh, and the Czechs just humped the Dutch

They look fantastic Stefan. But i thought you were a cert to go for the PFF-7's? I presume they are 215's?

Was a toss up for me between the afore mentioned two and Turinis but in the end the latter came up at too good a deal to miss.

JTM - quality shone through in the end

Carl,

Yeah, I was going for the PFF-7's but was put off with the offset and the alloys being wider than the P-WRC1's.

I have 225/35/18 Goodyear Eagles fitted

Turn in is a lot sharper than the 17's and ride quality is very good. They're even quieter that the old Toyo's. Even took the car for a spin tonight to test my camcorder (23Mb), but taking it easy on the new wheels

Stefan

the wheels look gorgeous on it, was worried we couldnt do it as the goodyear have a very very strong side wall than most others top brand makes, just sorry you had to wait so long mate, but worth the wait thou.

oh i got out of there just in the knick of time too before bands etc lined up

Hey Kev, was drooling over your P1 at Alford yesterday. The wheels have transformed the car since the last time i saw it at Russells.

Hate to sound like a stuck record but how've you gotten on with the tyres? 225/40's IIRC?

Hiya mate, sorry I never saw you yesterday. Unfortunately the guy who bought them from new put these tyres on for his P1. i would have preffered the 215/35. I've had them rub a couple of times when giving it max. I might try selling them as they are brand new and putting on the 35's
