Old school mechanic in ABZ required
Folks,
A mate of mine is after an old school mechanic who can set the jets on his 242 Webber carbs (sorry if that’s jibberish but if it doesn’t have multipoint fuel injection I don`t have a clue!). If possible in the Aberdeen area and I think It will more than likely be some grey haired old gentleman.
Cheers,
Chris

Ricky is 7 miles out side Huntly on the cost road. If you are going through from Abz it is the RH junction about one mile before the main roundabout and across from the petrol station. Westy is up there at the moment; Tel 01466 780190.
CLoser to Abz is Jim King out the back of Inveruire; he would know what to do as well.

ANother place who I'm sure could do that, would be the jaguar garage on Ardarroch Road Abdn, - just off Linksfield Rd. It's the proper old school. You go in, and the place is full of ancient parts, and shiny red leather seats out of a jag. They have a hellova lot of business there as well, and they're friendly (as well as being next door to me)....and they're both silver haired gents. I'm sure they'd be able to help.
The stuff that goes through there seems to vary enormously. They have huge numbers of E-types, an XK140, old Rovers, etc etc...
What type of car is it?
