Some new cars on track tonight [Fast Show]...which was nice[/Fast Show]

The Silver Evo VII must have been running some amount of boost as it sounded like a jet fighter going up the straight. A couple of minor incidents on track, but nothing outrageous. Black CTR nearly got collected by a Scooby at the hairpin not long into the session, and the RB5 above was "entertaining" as it got slightly out of shape at Duffus. Well held though, although I'm not so sure about the colour of his breeks afterwards

are you "kev from the garage" , ordered those bits we chatted about at crail? , we had john banks 2.5 up at the weekend , best was 12.2 @ 121 but with the best launch and run it should have got 12.0 ,the short sti 6 speed box adds an extra shift. I still think a P1 with the right mods would be quicker .

he got bored of no other cars coming close so needs to line up against you if your running about 400bhp now

I did not know it was a knockhill night or might have popped in. I was through that direction.

rb5 rear wheel looks a bit out , did it clatter the kerb.

yes its me john heard all about john banks at the weekend from andy f he said he was running well but thought the gear box was giving him slow times


got some of my stuff for the car andy says my turbo is ready but im waiting for my front mount still to come hopefully the end of this week and the power fc it sould be here the same time to so hoping to work over the weekend to get it done and then get andy to map it monday or tuesday then that gives me a few days to mess about with it before crail jst hope everything goes well

what clutch do you have? (andyf has a cracker with flywheel for sale)

we will just have to see if john banks has the bottle to line up with you now .

its just a standard clutch thats in it the now had it in since last march and ive got to have done about 200 launches with it by now so we will just have to wait and see how it gets on

i know a guy that has a group n rally scooby he uses a alcon 6 paddle clutch he said he can get them for £500 so i might see about that but then i thinking about the gearbox being the next weakest link ill just see how it goes

could always get a dog box like hes got in the rally car but thats 10k a bit silly for a gearbox

i know the 1 ur talking about it a exedy 6 paddle clutch we a dealers for them just got 1 for the leeanns dads evo the boss runs 1 in the skyline to

i just dont like the look of them think the plate is to thin dave that worked with us who had the sunny gti-r (350bhp) had the 3 paddle exedy clutch and it only lasted 3 launches at crail before it was knackered u could say he was a bit
