Question Leki walking poles.

Or similar.

Anyone local have a couple of walking poles lying about gathering dust?

Going un Ben Vane on Thursday and my old knees need some help!

Cheers

Sorry, even though I'm a keen hill walker I don't use walking poles myself.

Nice mountain, been up that one quite a few times.

If you're feeling energetic you can take in Beinn Ime, Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) and Beinn Narnairm at the same time

The Cobbler's a great little test of your head for heights and worth the effort.

Hope the weather improves. Was running up Dumgoyne on Saturday morning and got feckin soaked

Dougster,

Sure this isn't what you're looking for?

Dougster, IIRC you can hire them from Tiso's up @ Dobbie's Loan. Not as good as free, but better than some sore knees.

Was up there today at Dales as well, getting a new Easton seat post and Specialized saddle for my bike.

Really have been meaning to get myself a set for a while now.

Don't mention bikes. I dismantled mine with the good intentions of having it serviced. The frame's bare and all the bits are lying in a box

Any recommendations for getting someone to put it back together and give it a good service?

I had my first service carried out free at Dales. Haven't checked shocks recently but front mech. needs adjusted.

Dales have always been willing to help out and the boys seem pretty enthusiastic. They are having a huge sale this week, I had to leave quick before I melted my cc!

Alpine Bikes on Great Westen Road are not bad as well.

Most of the stuff I do myself though.
