Default Hotel recommendations - Edinburgh

Can anyone recommend a good hotel in Edinburgh city centre?

I, along with my stag night atendees will be frequenting Edinburgh and need a place to stay!

Anywhere centrally located and reasonably priced would be great.

Cheers guys.

P.S. I've checked online availability of a few places and it seems pretty busy, so even a good b&b would suffice.

Apex international down the Grass market. Fantastic place. Probably a bit pricey but my cousin works there so I got a discount.

She works there behind reception. Ask for Stacey and see what she can do. Probably be really annoyed at me for telling people over the internet.

Travel Inn at Haymarket is reasonably priced, and usually has good availability. I think there's also one in Grassmarket (at the bottom of Victoria Street), which is a bit more central.

Alternatively, if it's soon, try these guys :

Edinburgh hotels from wotif.com

They do late booking deals, and you can save a good bit of dosh on nice hotels

There are also loads of guest houses/B&B's in Minto Street. They'll probably be a little cheaper, but aren't quite as central (but still only a couple of miles out). Try a google search with "Minto Street Edinburgh"
