Exclamation E-Prom programming device in Scotland

Does anybody have access to a programming device that will allow me to upload a tweak to my map onto a SST 27SF512 e-prom device ??

If one is available in Scotland that would get me out a deep hole then please let me know.

My long awaited chips arrived this morning and one of the e-proms isn't 100% functioning so need to get this modified ASAP.

Default Programmer

Hi,

I have a programmer for these chips. Just to confirm, do you want to program the chip off the circuit board, I.E. Unplugged from DIP holder?
If so I can do these in a standalone programmer.

I'm in Tayside, near Dundee, so not far away from you. Let me know what you decide.

I have a problem that might require the map being sent to me via e-mail. To sort this I have the chips in my hand and need to insert them into a programming device to upload the correct maps. I'm awaiting a call from Pat to send me correct files if he does find a problem with his map.

These flash devices have a problem that when inserterd into my ECU, the CEL does not come on and there's a clicking noise from the engine bay/dash area.

Once the chip contents have been verified, and if there is the need for a new firmware file to be uploaded to the chips, let me know and if you want we can work something out. Like I said, I can read/write etc to these chips so that is no problem.
