Does it say Subaru on the calipers? If it does it's OE 4 pots.

I have an MY97 with 4 pots

tar-ox and ferodo should do the same for the two pot caliper.

They would (dependant on wheels fitted) and are a better bet for your £300 if you can find a set with good discs/pads.

I upgraded from 2-pots to 4-pots with EBC discs, Mintex 1144 pads + Goodrich braided hoses all for around £370. This included buying the pads and (4) hoses new.

Calipers and discs came from a local lad - Kendo on here. 1144's were supplied with discount from a friend who works in the local motor factors. Hoses from Russell (WUZ on here) at BHP Developments, which reminds me, i still have the rears to fit...

I had to wait a little while to get the four pots for such an excellent price although i have seen them that cheap a couple of times since.

Were the calipers and disks both second hand?

Aye. Discs are about to be replaced though as either me or Kenny has warped them a little.

Hey John! Aye, been home for past 6 weeks, at college in bonnie Falkirk at the moment so missed this trip away...

Still undecided about next Sat although i gather i need to make my mind up quickly!! Still waiting to hear whether the car will be getting painted at the time or not, if not i'll be booking on. You can give me some lessons then.

Doug, i have some Tarox discs arriving today in anticipation of KH next Sat, how've you found them? My EBC's must be getting on a bit now and they've began to warp (really noticeable when braking from high speed) and they also seem to fade alot (i've never had the ABS on so much in my life !! ) although how much of that is to do with the 1144 pads i don't know...

DS2500's are now on the list!
