no probs mate,

it seems that wagons are starting to become more popular!! for me they are practical!! i.e you can't keep 2 big dogs in the boot of a saloon can you??

anyway you should get your asking price as from reading your supplied info it seems a pretty straight car!!

good luck!!

Sorry, but dream on I have an MY99 (i.e. upgraded model with better brakes, clear lights, etc, etc) with FSSH and 60500 miles and so far haven't had a SINGLE person come to see it despite being in Autotrader for £8750ono (no calls) then £7995ono (a few calls) and on ebay. I have been offered £6000, £6500 and today £7350 by someone that hasn't even seen it yet (so would likely try to get more off ). If someone offered me £7500+ for mines tomorrow I'd bite their hand off. Classic shaped scoobys suck Mines has, as a second hand purchase, depreciated more in 16 months/30k miles than my brand new saxo vts did in the same time period and mileage. On the basis that the values of saxo's (esp vts) drop like a brick you'll appreciate how grim a picture this paints for classic shaped scoobys

Dark blue metallic saloon (popular colour and door no). True classics rock but I REALLY had to pay for the privilage in depreciation, running costs, etc.

your car is lovely mate, and yes it is a desirable colour..but if you search for saloons on autotrader, you will see that they are ten a penny, but when you search for the hatch, well £8000-£8500 sounds about right.. the classic hatch is becoming popular very quickly, and prices are staying strong. but good luck with the sale anyway mate, if i didn't have 2 big boxers then i'd buy your saloon..

Was this my old car? I used to own a MY98 silver wagon and I'm a doctor. Sold it to AF Noble in P/E for my STi. If it is, then its a good car.

LOL I talked to nobles a few times when I was looking for a scooby and a lot of them seemed to have one 'doctor' owner. Like that means anything anyway, John Banks is a doctor and runs 400+ hp through his poor classic

No sold that ages ago - just before getting the scooby. Nevertheless it was a) a new car (so money lost leaving dealer) b) a saxo! c) a saxo vts - I can't believe that the scooby - having done 50% of it depreciation already STILL managed to lose more money in the same time frame. Moreover when I sold the saxo the C3 was known about and everyone knew the then old saxo's days were numbered.

Also rekon price is a bit high.

I bought a 98' S plate reddish blue wagon, 60k, fsh etc...from a dealer last May.
I paid 8k
If i were selling it now, i'd be more than happy to get 7k !

Johnny
