Jewel Ultra Diamond Brite - Has anyone used it?
Folks
S & S Services are offering this "Polish Treatment" for your Scooby. I'm wondering if anyone has used it or has it on their car. It suppose to do away with polishing for ever as it protects the car's paint.
Anybody know anymore? Anyone? Hello?

Hi Gordon
What would you wont to get that on the car for ? You wouldn't know what to do ever night if you didn't have to polish your car.
Any Scot who got your Induction kit has had it done you might wont to give him a bell.
Cheers Dougie

I had it done to my previous car and was told it would last two years. To be honest after a month or so it didnt make the car look any better than any standard polished car and I went back to polishing it myself again. I think it was also because I didn't like the idea of not polishing it for years... bit like driving without your seatbelt... something feels wrong.
I got it done for the special price of £50, so not sure what they charge for it at dealers but personally I would spend the cash on some of the wax wizard stuff. It is the best I have seen on the cars paintwork and I know that it is being protected as I do it myself.

S & S tried selling it to me as well!
Seems like a good idea and it is guaranteed for 6 years.
BUT, what about tiny stone chips that happen after this stuff is applied?
If you aint polishing, the Diamond Brite won't protect it, so you are going to get small rust spots.
Noticed this on mine as it's white. At this time of year when the roads are salty, tiny rust spots appear on my doors. If I polish/wax the doors they go away.(the rust spots, not the doors)
Anyway if you are relying on Diamond Brite to protect the paintwork and you're not polishing, chances are the rust might start.
Hope this makes sense.
