ok peeps.........
it has came to the end of a very short lived era with my new wheels. while mapping my car this morning, number 3 piston decided to give up and go AWOL. so in order to sort the engine out, the wheels have to be sold in order to help out with the costs. i want to keep it in scottish section for a while as postage will be stupid so i'm hoping someone local will fabcy them. i will say just one thing, i WILL NOT accept any offer below £1000!!!
pic of me motor is as follows. wheels are obviously the ones in the pic. no scuffs on any wheel what-so-ever. people will vouch for that. as for the tyres...only two months useage so you work it out.

HI Dave
As said in PM sorry to hear about this M8.
When did you get back home last night as it must have been 1 hell of a long day.
Best thing to do is sit down and think what way you wont to go, then make yourself a plan and stick to it. That way you know where you are going and what you are looking for.
Hope you get sorted soon though.
Cheers Dougie

thanks dougie
got home at 10 last night, which doesn't sound long, but was in two recovery wagons over the time of about 8 or 9 hours and after all what happened was rather sh@gged TBH. lol
just trying to get prices at the moment and can from there weigh up what my REAL options are. i quite fancy the idea of the sti engine as certain parts are stronger than uk, but money will be the key factor. hope i get fast replys, i really do.
cheers

Unbelievable neebs
Cant imagine how devastated/p!ssed off you are. Hope ya get it fixed quickly. I think Dougie does have a good point though, have a full plan of what route to take and stick to it.
Does kinda make ya think about things a bit dont it, this more power malarky is a very slippery slope.

Grade A, Glenburgie, Townend Garage, Central Subaru for possible complete engines or short blocks.
Andy posted this a while back too mate
