Was out at Dastek a couple of weeks back, impressed with their setup Rollers read slightly higher fly figures than Star's (3-5% on my car) and the wheel figures tied up with what the rest of the world regard as drivetrain losses (on RWD anyway).
Gerry and Co. couldn't have been better when we were there, so I'm sure they will do whatever they can to get the best from your car.

Got mine booked in for saturday morning to get a wee check up. Getting the idle lifted and check out the launch control setting.
Let you know more on Sat evening. Seems to be all good so far. The guys only set the car up till its running the best power and is safe. They don't give you big power and problems to go with it. When I got the car it was 310 bhp but was leaning a little so the compromise was 297bhp and safe.
HI SOOB

I might be wrong but doesn't the Unichip installation involve cutting into the ECU wiring harness?
Apart from the reliability implications doesn't this mean that it's a custom install and difficult to remove in the future.
I'd rather go for an ECUTEK, at least then the ECU is standard and could be removed (swapped) & resold in the future.
Just my ramblings...... Mark

Yeah that is a fair point but there are pro and cons of any mod to the engine management I'm sure you would agree.Dastek just suits my requirements at the moment and that is why I have decided to go with them.I am booked in for the 10th Feb so I will let you know how it goes, good or bad.
