Those little silver connectors that attatch the wires to the sensor at the engine block.I broke one during fitting and need to source a new one.Halfrauds dont have them,is there anywhere in Paisley/Renfrew that would stock them? Cheers guys.

Go to a scrappy, find a ford and take a look under the bonnet. Usually it's pretty easy to find the correct bosch plug that clips straight onto the sensor (assuming you're using the bosch sensor of course!).

I could be doing with one aswell... got the sensor and connector kit but there's only one terminal in there so either it was missing from the start or I've lost it somehow
Don't have a knocklink yet, but obviously it's going to be a problem when I do get one!

The closest BOSCH distributor to you is just off Paisley Road nr Harry Ramsdens.
Stanley R Harris Ltd

The other alternative is Vehicle Wiring Products. You can order the female terminal connectors (2 off) (part no. 5962), the 2 pole female housing (part no. 4145) and the wiring boot (part no. 192150). This costs in total around £4, whereas buying the BOSCH sensor fitting kit (BOSCH part no. 1.287.013.003) costs around £10.
When I fitted my knocklink, I used Teeside Auto Tech for the sensor and the fitting kit which cost £52.18 inc VAT & postage and Jap Innovations for the knocklink display unit.
