I'm absolutely broke now

Luckily I had payed for a few of these thing's months ago and only just got it all sorted.

Did have an MR2 project car, but that's sold now to make way for more bits (once i put it back together ).

I think with the tmic , standard headers and water inj this could be a very quick car in the real world.

what have you done about up-pipe?

Magnex up pipe.

It's looking good so far, it's not far off the TD04 round the town, but through the gears you'd swear this wasn't a turbo car.

I'm off to give it a run with the road dyno in a while and compare it to before the turbo was fitted (running 15-16psi).

It's actually a shame i didn't run the TD04 with that up pipe on, to get a better idea of the difference it's made.

If anyone is interested this is what happened (water injection not used).

The first two are back to back runs today. The third one is with the TD04. Same conditions (as it was when it made 236@Star).

Dem Pesky MAFS!

Any ECU that can be mapped without one is a bonus IMHO.

My APEXI still uses MAF.

But am using MAF and Housing from Nissan 300zx.

This is more reliable apparantly but I think may cause slight problems at higher power levels @400bhp As the housing is slightly more restrictive.

Blew two standard MAFs in 6 mins getting my car mapped Yikes!

Yup, that's true. I can't quite claim 6mins but just a shade under 24hrs

It is a good thing GEMS gets rid of it, I'll take 4 spares with me though on my journey down to steve! :P

You worried me for a bit there

Spoke to steve today, Gems definetly gets rid of the MAF,
Otherwise it would have been a case of, EJECT,EJECT,EJECT on the group buy
