Whats the difference between TD06 20G and TD05/06 20g Turbo
Just thinking about a turbo upgrade and was wondering what the difference is between a TD06 20G and TD05/06 20g Turbo.
I take it the compressor side is the same if they are both 20g but what about the exhaust and what difference does it make to power and lag?
I have an STI 7 PPP with OBX headers and a Hyperflow TMIC so tye next thing is a turbo then either a Tek3 or other aftermarket ecu.

The TD06 turbine is much bigger than the TD05 and would be very laggy on a 2.0 and IMHO would be a bit wasted on a 20G compressor, it is more usual to hybrid it with a Garrett wheel, ala FP Green/Deadbolt Superzilla.
Best bet would be to speak to one or more of the commercial tuners who have experience of this type of turbo - in no particular order: Andy Forrest, Mark Aigin, Paul Blamire.
