Awesome day again. Even better collection of cars and a good display of cars by Town and County.
Barry - has your heart stopped pounding after you passenger laps in the Nutty STi.
Will be linking to my website for clips of the action as soon as I upload them.

Yeah it was a good day, was really surprised at the ammount of cars on the track at the same time, it made for some good spectating.
However my time there was spoiled by the antics of one tube my brother and I encountered in the car park. Now, I'm guessing he's not a regular on here as it was not something I would attribute to a SN member. This guy thought it would be a good idea to go to the gravel over beside the hairpin, where cars park up and spin his car round rally style and start to fishtail all over the place.
As I was reversing out of my space all I see is this ***** fish-tailing towards me, at this point I stare at him and think to myself this guys obvioulsy a *****, but I'd better leave it at that! Anyway he then procedes to nail it past both my brother and myself fish-tailing it past me and kicking up all sort of ****.
I'm sure some of you must have seen the incident I'm talking about. I can honestly say I've never seen that sort of antics at a Hot Hatch day, never mind a Subura drivers day. It was a Silver MY03 WRX, can't remember the plate.
If you are on here mate, would you be so kind to explain your thought process regarding that incident, as I'd love to hear it!

agreed - a great day, certainly learned a bit more about driving the car on the limit, and how to completely destroy a set of proxes!!!!!

Yeah it was a good day, I'm glad I went It was nice to see everybody again, it's been a while since i've been to a track day
The hairpin crash was the 1st crash I've ever seen there, it was just as well they weren't going fast! Hope the damage wasnt too bad.
Then the red wrx took to the grass down at turn 3, I made sure I got a photo of that
Shame the weather took a turn for the worst though. Although KH, just wouldn't be KH if it didn't rain

I've got a silver 03 - wasn't mine though, sound like a right dick though. Mine never moved from its parking space all day, plus I might get my car dirty or scratched and if someone did that to my car, better find out what he wants played at his funeral pretty damn quick.
Mr porsche seemed well behaved today though

I thought it was a good day too, saw some good driving on the track, but that guy in the boxter was doing some dodgy outbraking manouvers at times. That R32 skyline was sooo quick!

Dunno, but it wasn't cream, it was grey and was at the last scoob day. Heard him talking to the guy with the ferrari and thr ferrari driver said it went past him as if he was stopped. Asked what power it was pushing out and the r32 owner just shrugged and said i dont have a clue.

Bluenose172,
Saw the nobber you're talking about.
I thought he looked a right weener when he was getting into his 03 WRX, hey and I was right.
I saw you and some one else (your brother I assume) saying something to him after peeping at him but he just laughed!
You usually always get at least one nobber, just didn't expect it to be a WRX03 though?
Bogie

Yeah, excellent day out once more. Also agree that it was nice to see a wider variety of cars out.
Was gutted for the poor chap in the yellow Seven, really had nowhere to go. I saw both cars drive away around 16.30 so hopefully they both made it all the way home under their own power.
My car of the day.
Desperately wanted a picture of it's discs glowing as it entered the hairpin but it wasn't to be...
Some other highlights.
Got plenty more pics, may make up a gallery later on.

Yeah it was my brother in the Cup. He had a few choice words to say to him shall we say! If he had thrown any stones into either of the cars, I wouldn't liked to have been that guy with my bro about!

I was behind the yellow car as it got towed down the road by a jeep - he was still in it, in the pouring rain
Did feel sorry for him.
Noticed another one driving with helmet on all the way home - not sure about the legality of that but class all the same

The Black R34 Skyline is Hugh Keir's car. It has a *VERY* high spec indeed. OS Giken 3.0l kit, HKS 2835 turbos and also a sequential gearbox. At TOTB2 it did an 11.14sec 1/4 mile at 115mph, probably making about 800bhp depending on boost level. One of the best R34's in the UK, if not THE best.

Bogie, wished id seem him laugh at me the little ... I thought he was a dick when I saw him do it at the end of the car park but to over take us wheel spinning is out of order (and next to everyone elses cars). If he had hit either of our cars it would have been very interesting, if I see him at the next track day im going to ask him what was so funny.

No need - as I said, it was my pleasure
The young lad was a bit quiet - I was worried that he was comfortable with my driving ... but he was fine. Next time, bring him along again and I'll easy give him a heap more laps.
Cheers,
N

I'm sure some of you must have seen the incident I'm talking about. I can honestly say I've never seen that sort of antics at a Hot Hatch day, never mind a Subura drivers day. It was a Silver MY03 WRX, can't remember the plate.
If you are on here mate, would you be so kind to explain your thought process regarding that incident, as I'd love to hear it!

Sounds as if he is the guy in the WRX mentioned in the following story The Tosser’s Top Ten

I had a good day.
I enjoyed seeing Barry's face after his few laps with Mr Forrest
I enjoyed meeting some new people and picking up some info about Scoobs.
I enjoyed listening to the banter of the two Seven drivers as they patched up their cars after hitting each other.
I really enjoyed my mate spinning his caterham at the hairpin and nearly getting T-boned by chicken George. (It was quite wet by then)
